I knew right away I was going to be dealing with someone who took pride in their work and who was out to truly serve his customers. My stepfather also told me that he had set up a special appointment with mark to help me find a good vehicle. Mark went over and above to accommodate us. He listened to everything I told him I needed and wanted. I also told him my budget and what I had to work with. He truly took everything I said and made it work. I found a car that I fell in love with instantly and mark was able to get me into it without breaking my budget. He was very informative about everything and took me step by step through the whole car buying process. Not only did I get a new vehicle but I left there with more knowledge on car buying. He also helped me with getting the right insurance ppolicy and rate for my new car. He also took the time to go through the car with me and show me how everything works. I didn't have to worry about a thing. He took care of EVERYTHING!! The next day after I purchased the car he telephoned me to make sure I was completely satisfied and to let me know he is taking care of the plates and registration. To say the least I was incredibly skeptical because I've heard a lot of horror stories about car dealerships. I had seen on the website the car I wanted, the internet price and the fact that the dealership doesn't work on commission. It was a very low pressure atmosphere and Jim was incredibly knowledgable on everything. As soon as I walked to the front I was greeted by a warm smile and friendly handshake. I felt like he was extremely trustworthy and really wanted to find the car and price/financing that would fit me best. He really listened to what I had to say and used that to put me in the car I wanted. I love the fact that the dealership takes care of everything! Since this was my first purchase on my own I had no idea what to do to get the registration, license plates and insurance updated. We sat down and literally did everything together so now there's no need to worry about anything. Marco also helped me get a great warranty for a good price that fits my driving pattern. He was very personable and very enjoyable to do business with. I'm in a great car, that runs and I will most definitely refer all my friends and family to Bennett Chevrolet for their next car purchase. It was a great experience and it shows that Jim Bryant and the entire staff are very well trained, willing to go the extra mile for their customer and really love what they do.

Our credit rating is not so good and the other dealership wanted to put us in a car with a cracked windshield that made terrible sounds when you test drove the car. Andy from Bennett treated us like we had been friends for a long time. He was very respectful and sympathetic to our situation. We don't have good credit but have been through some bad times. Andy understood our situation and was able to get us into a brand new 2012 malibu. He was very helpful and friendly. I cannot say enough. Most people don't have good experiences buying a car because of the way they are treated buy the car salesman. We had the best experience with Andy and will be back again when it is time to buy a new car. My husband and I will recommend Andy to everyone we know. In fact we are sending our son's girlfriend to talk to Andy about buying a car. They live almost three hours away from EHT, but we had such a great experience dealing with Andy that we had to tell them to go see Andy at Bennett. Also, the sales manager Marco, was helpful with signing all of the paperwork and explaining about the warranties that we could get with the car. They had great purchasing experiences 3-4 years ago with their purchases of large cars and SUV's. After searching other dealerships in the area, they found Bennett to be the best, no-nonsense, no shortcuts, top notch dealership.
This year I was in the market for a new, small car and had my mind set on a Honda. My boyfriend checked out all of the details for me but came back to search at Bennett and fell in love with a 2012 Chevy Cruze. I was unfamiliar with the model but he called me, described the car to me in detail down to its color, and two days later, I made the trip to South Jersey from North Jersey to purchase my new car! I couldn't be happier!
From initial phone conversations with Tony DiSalvo and ending with arrival at Bennett Chevrolet, I could tell this Chevy dealer was reputable. Mr. DiSalvo was so pleasant, professional, considerate, informative, friendly and helpful. He clearly defined every step necessary and quickly completed our transactions. Anthony, in Bennett's finance department was great to work with. He very accurately explained each document as we quickly moved through the financing process. (He even noticed that we have the same birthday.) I couldn't have asked for a better buying experience and I'm thrilled to have a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze!
I think the 2 hour drive would be well worth it again from North Jersey to Bennett Chevrolet for future servicing.

- D. Weberg, Hartford, MIMy visit to Bennetts was totally unexpected. My SUV broke down on the side of the road about 5-10 miles from Egg Harbor. I was 900 miles from home with 2 teenage girls. I had no idea what I was going to do and I was completely devastated. It was too expensive and too time consuming to fix my SUV (transmission went out). The guys at the dealership were more than helpful. They restored my faith in the fact that there are good people in the world. Mark Hendricks made sure that me and the girls got to a hotel near by and that we were safe. Justin (the pro golfer that sells cars for some reason) drove us to the hotel and assured us we were in a safe location and that everything would work out the following day. The next morning we were back at the dealership. Mark, Tony, Donald and Anthony did everything they could to get me into another vehicle, and trust me that was no easy task. My xhusband had left my credit less than desirable but the guys at Bennett never gave up. They pulled some really big strings but got the deal done. I drove away in another SUV and was able to return home to Michigan safe and sound.
If you guys at Bennetts are reading this....I want you to know I can not express in words how much I admire your character and the way you care about your customers. I was a woman from out of state with two teenage girls that you could have easily taken advantage of. You would have never seen me again, but instead all of you helped me, showed compassion and treated us with respect. I am forever greatful for everything you have done for me and the girls. I don't know why I drifted away over the years. I guess I just wanted to check some other places out. I just wanted to look around. But over the years, it became clear that I should come back here and see if they're still as good as I remember they were, when I was a kid.
Well, let me tell you...they're even better.
In the Fall of 2006 I bought a New 2007 HHR. I loved it. Great mileage, good deal, and it was just a cool vehicle.
Today, I came back to see what they had, and I met Scott Lam. Here's a young man who was born to be in this line of work. Its plain to see he takes pride in his work. And if you're not exactly sure what you want when you start looking around, he'll take his time and show you how every single thing works. And if you don't like a particular vehicle, he'll help you find another one that's better suited to you and your needs.
Every thing he did, was to help me feel comfortable with this purchase. He doesn't rush you, or put the slightest bit of pressure on you to make a sale. He wants to put you in a car (or other vehicle) that you'll be comfortable with. He is the kind of Car Salesman that other salesmen should aspire to be.
I'm not always the easiest person to deal with. And I have a few health issues that make me need a couple things in a car that others may not need. But Scott's got patience. And he will not pressure you or rush you, not one little bit. I'm satisfied with my deal. And I love my new car. A 2011 Impala with the works. By the way...this Impala's 6-cylinder has more HP than my '69 Camaro's 327 had, plus it gets 29 MPG (hwy) to boot.
I highly recommend this dealership to anyone that wants to find a great deal...and have the opportunity to take a ride in some of the coolest cars, SUVS, and trucks in South Jersey. By the way....Scott can also be reached on the Internet. And he WILL check his email and get back to you.

I have had many bad experiences with other dealerships and Ryan reassured me that it would never happen at this establishment. He kept me informed throughout the process and stood by his word. He went out of his way to take pictures of the vehicle I was interested in and emailed me them as soon as he was completed. (the truck was a recent trade and pictures were not taken yet) He was professional, courteous, prompt, diligent, honest, trust worthy, straight forward, respectful, great listener, and a hard working individual. I had to travel approximately 45 miles one way to the showroom. It was worth the trip to travel just to meet the sales representative even if I decided I didnt want to purchase the vehicle. I have never been to a dealership quite like Bennet. They have exceptional customer service and a no hassle atmosphere. I have no complaints except for the lack of a sunroof my 2009 Tahoe has everything I wanted. Ryan deserves FIVE STARS!! I am now a lifelong customer and will not go to any other dealership.

There is a very large selection of certified used cars as well as brand new cars. However, I had to send email, and make a phone call and wait almost 3 weeks for car registration and tags. Preferred owner card did not have dollar amount loaded as promised.
